Hi Folks:
Someone just gave me a 1400cs with a Cruise Card in it.
Finally figured out how to pop the X-Jack out and plug
the dang thing into the wall...
Which cards will work with this machine to go wireless?
I've heard that the Orinoco Silver will work. Anything
else/newer/good value for the money?
This little laptop is perfect for my purposes -- writing
position papers while at board meetings and checking the
email from home once in awhile.
The same kind person gave me an HP 310 portable printer : )
Thanks for any help,
Jan

That's what I use. If you need to get something new Cabletron sells
similar cards (they don't ID themselves as Orinoco and use seperate
drivers under OS9) under their Enterasys brand name.
The Orinoco cards were sold under many brand names and the current owner
of the brand sold different cards under the Orinoco name so make sure
you get the correct ones.
You must use a 5 volt 16 bit PCMCIA card, so there are very few
that are newer and many of the other ones don't have MacOS drivers.
