I have a webcam (Logitech Notebook Pro) that works in my Dell WinXP
machine. I tried this unit in my iBook 12" (OS X 10.4.8), and it does
not recognize it at all. So I downloaded "macam" tool from Apple thrid
party listing. When I launched it, the window says : " no camera".
Dragged the macam.components to iChatAV folder and started iChat. That
too didn't see my camera.  What can I do to make this USB device work
in my iBook?
