Good Grief! What *can* you do for the hard of thinking?
If you forgot to look at the menu bar clock when you started, you could
always ratio up the percentage and time left. e.g 1 hour left and 33%
full, you have been running for 2 hours already already.
Pray tell. What use would you make of this information without the
optional time travel module?

Thanks for the suggestion.
I ended up writing a simple program in C that I can run from the
terminal It tells me both how long the computer has been asleep and
how long it's been awake since the program started. It's based on
sample code that was part of Apple's Power Management Development DDK:
http://developer.apple.com/sdk/index.html

Hey dude...thanks for such a useful comment. F**k me for thinking a
computer can actually make my life easier by doing the computing for
me.
And as far as why I want this info? Well, it's the same reason why
there's a trip odometer in your car.
