MacBook I-sight issue

I got a MacBook about a couple of months ago and I love it....
however...  I have some issue with the built in I-sight camera and
wonder if it is my individual problem or if others are experiencing the
same.  I have a Logitec USB web cam that really works well.  Even if
the lighting is low... it broadcasts nice and clear and bright with
true to life colors.  My I-sight camera, on the other hand, is dim and
has an orange tinge to it most of the time.  Compared to the Logitec
the I-sight is terrible. Given the advertising build-up of the I-sight,
I'm wondering if there might be something wrong with mine.

My question is:  is there a setting somewhere or some controls that can
boost the performance of the I-sight?  Are other MacBook owners
experiencing the same problem with their I-sight camera?  Is there a
way to disable the I-sight to use the Logitec with Yahoo Chat?

Thanks for any opinions/theories/advise that you can throw at me.

Do you have photo booth set to normal vs. one of the odd effects?

Yes, it's on normal there... I looked around in photobooth and don't
see any camera controls other than the effects.  Thanks for the
suggestion...

I have no other webcam to compare my iSight with, Bob.  Where I use my
MacBook, my face is not well lit (light is behind me).  But the area
behind my chair is, and looks normal as imaged by the camera.

Like you, I see no other camera controls in Photo Booth.  Perhaps there
is something buried in Utilities .. or some 3rd party software.

Since I don't do Chat or IM, I really find the camera just a novelty at
this point.
