really would like to use it under os 9 .... is there any driver to find
somewhere to accomplish this ?

Jo-

I have a Belkin card for my Wallstreet that works with the Airport drivers
under 10.2.8, but not with OS 9.  I never worried about it because I also
have an Orinoco/Lucent "Silver" card that works under OS 9 but not OS X!

If you haven't checked, there are Macintosh drivers for some products
available for download at the Belkin web site.

I have seen comments by others recommending IOxperts
http://www.ioxperts.com/

and OrangeWare
http://www.orangeware.com/

as sources of drivers.

Older Belkin cards with Broadcom chips are supported by Apple's AirPort
driver, but newer versions are not. Unfortunately, the two versions can
have the same model number. See

ml>.

There is a Mac OS compatibility chart for wireless adapter cards at
<http://home.earthlink.net/~metaphyzx/Wireless.htm>.

Which I noticed after I bought one some months ago :-)
