ibook hd replacement sucks

Wow - I moved from a pismo to an ibook,
replacing the hard drive in a pismo takes
5 minutes - in an ibook, 2 hours with major
chances for damaging the machine. Sheesh

Same with a PowerBook, replacing the HD is simple. iBook will set you back 2
or 3 hours.

The iBook is designed for a different market segment. Apple doesn't want
people messing about inside the iBook. I guess they figure if you can
afford the pro machines you can go do the work yourself -- although that
certainly is not the case with tons of people I know.
