Looking for any user experience in using a USB 2.0/Firewire Combo
Cardbus card on a Powerbook G3/Lombard.

There are a wide variety of products out there. But, because of the age
of this Powerbook it's getting harder and harder to verify what works
and what doesn't.

I have Tiger successfully running and, in essence, want to use the
Lombard as my 'hub' for all my tunes. I'm currently using a Cube for
this purpose but now that I've gotten a iPod Video the Cube has been
rendered useless due to it's inability to be upgraded USB 2.0.

I need the ability to have both Firewire AND USB 2.0 devices connected
to the Lombard.

my apologies for the double post. I posted under two email ids. This
post didn't appear for a couple of hours for some reason. I was
impatient!

I was able to buy a "Best Cardbus" brand combo Firewire USB 2 at a local
store for $35. It is plugged into a TiBook and is working just fine as a
pathway to two external hard drives, one Firewire and one USB 2.
