I am buying mac portables for my children (its time they joined) and
am looking at clamshells on ebay.  Does anyone know if it is
possible to upgrade the drive in a 366mhz model to a dvd drive?

A DVD drive was an option on the 366MHz models, so if you buy carefully
you'll get one of these already installed.

If you get one with a CD-ROM drive then yeah, you could upgrade it to a
DVD.  The tricky part would be finding the right model of DVD drive,
though.

Watch the word wrap, it's _so_ easy to use Google! :)

Yes you can get a DVD drive but be careful in getting the correct one. Also,
you will need a DVD encoder card (expensive) to be able to watch DVD movies.
