Hello Fellow Mac Users ...

Looks like some of the speaker holes on my TiBook are plugged with dust?

I've tried compressed air to clean these holes but it doesn't seem to
help.

I'm not sure if there's a safe and easy way to open up the TiBook to
clean from inside or not, or a perhaps a good procedure to do from the
outside.

Anyon have tips or tricks on how to safely clean these out?

You may need to disassemble the unit.  If you need or choose to do that
go to

http://www.pbfixit.com/Guide/

and look up replace hard drive and it will give you disassembly
schematics. It is understood you do not want to replace your hard drive
but it will give you step by step instructions for disassembly and you
can clean interior of unit rather than replace parts.
