Wegener Media is still in business. The Matshita DVD drive that I
ordered from Powerbookguy was drop shipped from Wegener. I forgot to
ask if I needed a new module end bezel and have been trying to order
one from Wegener for two months now. I never get any answer to my
emails. Wegener's web pages are still up and I use their email link.
Well, just because a web page is up does not necessarily mean the
company is in business. So, anyone know anything about Wegener Media?
Besides posting here, please send to my email also - ferma001@umn.edu.
Thanks.

had similar problem: I got my Powerbook Wallstreet back from repair, but
later e-mails were not answered. I too had/have the question if they are
still in business.

My inquiry of PowerBook Guy came back to say Wegener was still in
business. If word gets out far enough, Wegener might start hurting for
customers if Wegener doesn't change their business practices. All I
want to get out of them is a bezel - that isn't big bucks, so your
experience comes as a real shock.

That's funny, I had the opposite similar problem with Wegener Media. I
recently ordered a 1GB RAM card for my powerbook but they accidentally sent
2 of the cards. When I asked if I should return the extra card, their
response was quick and polite.

Guess it just depends on what end of the transaction you're on. In any case,
I'm not too impressed with Wegener Media and won't buy there anymore. They
struck me as an undisciplined halfassed operation.

Well, that is hopeful. I am not complaining about a service, but asking
how to order the bezel as it can't be found on their web site. So I am
on the right end of the transaction as you were. I just wish I knew
some other places to inquire of.
