Hello All,

Does anyone know where I can get old versions of the updaters?

I am trying to locate the Windows 1.4 version of the Updater so that I
can downgrade my iPod from 1.5 to 1.4 so I can run Linux on the iPod so
I can do voice recording (the hardware I have purchased to do this,
Griffin iTalk and Belkin Voice Recorder, doesn't work with my iPod
which is an older model, I believe 'version 2'). I only have about 2
weeks left before I leave for home and would _really_ like to interview
my grandmother on recording (digital format preferred).

Thanks in Advance,
Randy

There is a comprehensive iPod firmware updater on the Apple web site - in
the updates section. The updater must, however, be run in OS 10.x and it
includes a menu of choices to match your particular iPod.
