Hello Anybody,

I'm a Pismo cult member looking to extend the inevitable obsolescence
of my 'book'. I think the Daystar and FastMac G4/550 offerings are
neck to neck. But I don't know much. Who might be able to tell me
which one runs cooler or faster, generally, if at all. Daystar uses
the 7410e, supposedly cooler. but Fastmac only overclocks 533 mhz to
550, rather than Daystar's 500 to 550. What does it all mean?! Any
helpful reports or insights regarding these or other issues would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Michael

You can alsooverclock the Daystar processor up to 600 MHz like I did.
Frankly it's a real good upgrade.
