There is a noticeably higher drive noise (the whirring noise) when
playing a CD in our Powerbook G4 Al 15" compared to the PB G4 Ti.

Is this "normal" for that model?

Any fix?

Thanks for any tips.

I've never used a titanium Powerbook, but the initial drive noise on my
aluminium is quite loud, yes. I've you've no reason to suspect damage,
then it's probably just normal sound.
