noob ipod fm modulator question

Sorry, but I couldn't find this info, so here goes..

I just bought a 20GB ipod and was thinking about how to hook it to my
Blazer.

It has an FM modulator for a CD Changer (which lives behid the
backseat-D'oh!)

So...
Could I somehow hook up the ipod to the already existing modulator?
(By unhooking the changer somehow, perhaps?)

I've heard bad things about the transmitters and don't know if my
cassette deck even works, plus it auto-reverses... I'd prefer to use
the modulator if possible.

Any thoughts?

If this info is already out there, sorry to waste space, but I couldn't
find it.

Hard to say if it'd work without examining the hardware in question.
This isn't a Mac question so much as it is a car-stereo question.  It
all depends on what kind of input connection(s) the FM unit has.  Best
bet is probably to find it, take a look, and see what you find.
