I want to upgrade the hard drive in my Pismo.  I see designations of ATA
5, ATA 6, ATA 66, and ATA 100.  I have read in various groups that some
people say the ATA 6 did work in their Pismo, and some that say the ATA
6 did not work.

Please help in understanding the differences and which is the best for
my Pismo.

Cheers

I think it turned out that some Toshiba ATA-6 drives had problems
working in the Pismo.  My friend has an IBM/Hitachi (I think) ATA 6
drive in his Pismo with no problems.
