saw this on a forum and had the same question too.  btw, I have OSX10.3
What program on the apple will deal with files like:
apple.dmg.001.001
apple.dmg.001.002
apple.dmg.001.003, etc?

For the life of me, and that's not much being I'm not a apple user, I can't put this together. At first I thought it was named wrong but that did nothing.

Another type i've seen is:

apple.sit.1.bin
apple.sit.2.bin
apple.sit.3.bin, etc.

I can't figure out how to join these types either.

Just "cat" (concatinate or append) them together as one file, in order.
