Hello, I wonder if anyone here has an expert opinion on the best source for new batteries for a Pismo (or Lombard)? Are we better off buying a third-party replacement battery or one of the sealed orginal Apple batteries that sometimes show up on eBay. Any informed opinion will be gratefully received. I just (as in within the week) purchased a Lombard battery from LaptopsForLess.com with a 1 year warranty. Watch out with older batteries even if they have never been used. Even with the extra costs for shipping and import duty, it worked out much cheaper than buying anywhere in the UK. I think I paid about £60.
