I've heard reports of problems with 10.3.5. I'm quite new to OS X so I
don't know how to evaluate the seriousness of the reported problems.

I have a PB G4 Ti 1Ghz that I'm moving to as my main Mac and I plan to
upgrade it to Panther before switching to using it full time. Trying to
determine if .5 is OK on that PB.

I bought a retail version of Panther. It just arrived and it is 10.3.5.
I was actually disappointed since I wanted the option of which version
to install and didn't think they had the 10.3.5 discs out already.

Any recommendations as to which is better on the Ti PB G4: .3 or .5?

Thanks.

I haven't had any problems on my Ti 1Ghz with either version.

This way: "They're overstated."

People who have problems post about them. People who don't have problems
almost never post that they're running trouble-free unless they see and
feel they must respond to a blanket statement asserting that there's no
way such-and-such version could possibly work for anyone.
