Hi,

I just picked up a new ibook and have just been getting acquainted
with it. I noticed that some of the keys on the keyboard type out
special characters.  For example this is my question mark, ÈÉÉÉ, and
this is my backslash, àààààà.

I set my keyboard to the default english setup and nothing seems to
have changed. Does anyone have any suggestionsÉ

Thanks,

Mark

Does your question mark really make two different accented characters?

Just for humor, try resetting the PMU. How one does that depends on the
vintage of iBook, but Apple has instructions on their site.

Standard output is like your butt. Everyone has one. When using a bathroom,
they all default to going into a toilet. However, a person can redirect his
"standard output" to somewhere else, if he so chooses.  - Jeremy Nixon
