Hello -

I have approximately 40 mac users who are learning to cope with domain
passwords and now migration to Exchange 2003/Outlook 2001.  I am trying to use
the change password functinality within Outlook 2001 but it doesn't seem  to
work.  It returns the error message "Unable to change Windows password.
Please check your information and try again."

Has anyone else experienced this?  My network admin already applied the fix
from MS KB 236111 and 156182.

I used to work in windows env't and was one of rare Mac users.  I used
Outlook 2001 to access exchange server account, both on site and via
remote dial-up.  I was never able to change my password (required
monthly) from within Outlook 2001.  I used the MS web OWA client to
change password. That is, as we were able to access our Outlook
accounts on the web (minimal functionality), it was possible to change
passwords at time of login.  It worked well on Safari (1.0.2 & later) &
Netscape 7.

We were never able to get Entourage (from Office V.x or Office 2004) or
Mac Mail 2.0.5 (in 10.4.x) to work with Exchange 2003 (the company
hadn't implemented LDAP and some other requirements).  Hope this helps.
