New messages disappear in outlook

Each time I close out of Outlook, then reopen it all of the messages I had
recieved have vanished. I have looked around in most all of the menus for a
auto delet feature but there don't seem to be one. Any help in this area
would be grately appriciated

Outlook or Outlook Express?

It's possible this is because the program is only showing you unread
messages.

In Outlook Express, choose View > Unread Only (Uncheck)
In Outlook, look at the Views menu option. Off the top of my head I don't
remember what menu this is in, and I can't launch Outlook at home.
