Version: v.X
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC

A warning message comes up on the screen for any application, it happened whilst preparing a pp presentation with photos, which kept hanging up.....I need this for a presentation on Monday (Typical!)

The application "PowerPoint" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "6<Microsoft PowerPoint><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_ColorSync><>"

Plse Help if you recognize this error,

Carl

It sounds more like an OS error - try running Disk Utility - Repair Disk
Permissions, restart your Mac & see if that works.

If not, make sure you have OS X fully updated - 10.4.11 is where it should
be, so anything lower than that may be corrected by applying the later
versions - I'm not certain off the top exactly which ones do what:-) but
updates will usually notice anything that isn't up to snuff.

If you get a similar message when attempting to launch non-MS apps I'd
suggest you post to the Apple Discussions board for Tiger:

[And I'm assuming Office X is at 10.1.9, right?]
