Sure: When you buy a new computer, the first thing you have to do is update
it. Manufacturers tend to ship software at a "Baseline" version, which is
usually the version that was first offered for sale.
In your case, you have Microsoft Office designed for OS 10.3.0 and a
computer running OS 10.4.10. You need to update to bring the two into synch
so all the pieces match versions.
First run the Apple Software Update utility, then go to the Microsoft site
and download their update package. Save the file: you will need it again
for the paid-for version if you choose to buy it.
Run both sets of updates and your problems should be over.
Hope this helps

Option 1) If you receive a framework error, re-apply recent updates. A
framework error normally means one or more components of Office have not
been updated correctly and are now out of synch with other bits.
Option 2) The "Framework error" is basically a (generic) message indicating
the application can't connect to the Database or to the expected information
inside the Database. The reasons may differ and so may the methods to solve
it.
I suspect option 1 in your case. Run ³Remove Office² located in the
User/Applications/MS Office 2004/Additional Tools folder. Then re-install &
update Office. [IMPORTANT] If you do not update, you will not be able to
open your Entourage database.
Note: you will need your CD key.
