I am new to Mac, so if anyone can tell me how to fix this problem I
have, it will be appreciated.

When I launch Excel, open an existing file by choosing 'open' under
'File' at toolbar, Excel opens up a window to show all the files,
folders etc. from my computer HD and extermal HD etc. in one window
with the tile 'Open: Microsoft Excel'.
Somehow, this winow in my Excel program has corner push down out of
screen. Therefore, I can not grab the corner to shrink the window to
fit my computer screen. I barely see 'Cancel' and 'Open' icons at the
bottom of the window. So only way I could open any excel file is to
double click file name.

I think I should be able to shrink the window as a smaller one at the
center of screen by cliking th green button at the top-left corner of
this window (Open: Microsoft Excel). However this green button is not
working in my Excel. I thought this should work since I was able to
reshape similar winow in Word and Powerpoint. Simply, Excel refuses to
respond this green button.

Yes, it is operable but it drives me crazy not being able to shrink it
to the normal size.
Anyone knows how to fix this?
Thanks for your help in advance.
