Hello,
My daughter started college with a Mac G4, it was stolen in her senior
year and repalced this summer. She has her original Office disks, but
requires a product code to re-install. How can I get this code?
Thanks from an original (1984) Own-A-Mac owner.

The Product Key should be with the original Office disks. There is a Product
Key and a Product ID. The ID is generated when you install and is not
needed.

If you have the Product ID, call or send an email to MS to get a new Product
Key.

Hi Bob:

There's a bright orange sticker stuck to the back of the original CD case.
That's it...

If she hasn't got the outer case, she's pooched.  Ring Microsoft: there's a
deal where if you registered the original they have a record.  If your
details match the stored registration details, and I think you have to post
your original disks to them, they will then sell you a new set of disks with
a new key for 20 bucks (or something like that...)

Be nice: I believe this is an unpublished thing that's at the discretion of
the person you speak to :-)

Cheers
