Changing Font on a sentence changes WHOLE document

Hi Everyone,

When I change a font or bold, MS Word changes the WHOLE
document. Then I have to undo to get it corrected.

What¹s the fix for this?

Try this:

Format --> style.  Select the style in use (probably Normal), modify,
uncheck automatically update.

And check "add to template" so that it doesn't continue to re-occur in new
documents (theoretically).  If already created documents show the same
problem, you may have to repeat the process for each one.

PS to John: if you must post to both m.p.Mac.office and m.p.Mac.office.word,
a single post sent to both groups would prevent people giving answers you
already have.
