Hi Guys,

I've recently deployed LCS 2005 SP1 in my network environment, but somehow I
wasn't able to start the service after the Activation stage.

When I checked the event viewer, these are the errors I got:

Event Type:    Error
Event Source:    Live Communications Server
Event Category:    (1000)
Event ID:    12299
Date:        2/24/2006
Time:        7:03:32 PM
User:        N/A
Computer:    MERCURY
Description:
The service is shutting down due to an internal error.

Error Code: 0xC3EA5008.
Resolution:
Check the previous event log entries and resolve them. Restart the server.
If the problem persists contact product support.

http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Description:
Server could not find the AD objects associated with it.

Cause: This could happen if the server was newly activated and the created
AD objects haven't replicated or if permissions to the service account are
altered.
Resolution:
Make sure that replication is complete and the account the service is
running under has proper privileges and that connection to Active Directory
(or SQL backend) is functional.

My network environment is configured as a Child domain. Having our own
Active Directory Server. I've complete the steps from the LCS 2005 SP
installation wizard without any errors. Could someone please help me on this
matter?

You've posted your LCS question to a Macintosh Office newsgroup. Perhaps
someone will be able to help, but I'd think you'd have more success
posting it to

   microsoft.public.livecomm.general

or

   microsoft.public.livecomm.developer

HTH.
