Is it possible to upgrade to MS Office for Mac from Windows Office for
PC?  My sister-in-law just made the move to a mac. Sheowned Office on
her old Gateway Laptop, can she upgrade to the Mac from her PC version?
thanks.

Nope, no cross-upgrade discount.

But if she bought a new Mac, there is a current discount that she may
qualify for, which is even better--check the Office Bonus link at Apple:

Be sure to read the fine print on the rebate coupon--expires soon.
