Office 2004 Mac 11.2.1 Update

I downloaded the Office 2004 Mac 11.2.1 update and it appeared to load
just fine. However, now everytime I open any office product (Word,
Excel, Entourage, etc.) it also tries to launch the update as if it has
not been loaded. Has anyone seen this and is there a simple fix?

I haven't seen this, so I don't know how simple the fix is. How are you
opening the office apps (e.g., Dock, Finder, double-clicking office
docs)?
