OFFICE MAC 2004 "UPGRADE" INDICATED THAT IT WOULD UPGRADE FROM OFFICE 98, BUT OFFICE 98 IS ON OLD SLOT LOADING IMAC G3 AND I WANT TO PUT OFFICE MAC 2004 ON NEW IMAC G5. I CAN NOT GET OFFICE 98 TO INSTALL ON THE G5. OFFICE MAC 2004 UPGRADE WILL NOT RUN WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO READ OFFICE 98. I HAVE ALL THE PRODUCT KEYS FROM OFFICE 98 BUT I AM NEVER PROVIDED A WINDOW TO ENTER THE INFORMATION. NEITHER PRODUCT KEY FROM OFFICE 98 OR 2004 WILL WORK ON MICROSOFT EMAIL SUPPORT SITE SO I CAN'T EVEN CONTACT MICROSOFT! REALLY FRUSTRATED! Do you have your Office 98 CD still? You should be able to put it in the CD drive when Office 2004 asks for a qualifying copy, and then you don't need to bother to install Office 98. PS.
