I am having trouble forwarding a hyperlinked email from WORD.
I have an image linked to a website address and it works great until it
is forwarded. (on a MAC)
Than the image disappears and only the http: address remains.
Can someone please help me solve this problem?

Thank you!

Hi,

I don't know what method you used to put the picture into the Word
document, but try this:

From the INSERT menu choose FIELD.  In the right side choose INCLUDE
PICTURE. In the form field after INCLUDEPICTURE type a backslash
followed by the URL of the picture you want to display in the Word document.

It takes a moment for the image to come from the internet, and of course
it requires that the viewing computer have a live internet connection.

Hi Jim,

The method I have been using has been INSERT - PCITURE FROM FILE, (than
I insert the banner jpg). Than I INSERT - HYPERLINK  - where it says
link to - I enter the web address.  Then I go to FILE - SEND TO - MAIL
RECIEPIENT AS HTML.  Which works fine when I first email it (to myself
as a test) but, when I forward it after that, the banner disappears and
just the url remains.

When I tried using your method - it works fine in word (links to the
web page) but when I mail it to myself (through send to - mail to
receipientent..) and open it the link is broken and it is just the
image.

I am working from a MAC OSX.  When I have tried sending it to a PC and
than forwarding it from a PC and it seems to work.  I just need to find
a way to make it work on a MAC?!

Hi,

I sent an email to myself from my hotmail account to a different email
account of mine using the IncludePicture Word field method. The image
appeared fine and so did the hyperlink.

I am using Word 2004 with Entourage 2004 (latest builds). I am thinking
that perhaps your email program is the stubling block.

Hi Jim,

I tried emailing it to some different email accounts and it worked!

Thanks so much for your help!
