Since I installed Tiger all of the programs of office are now "test
drive".  How do I fix this?

I have same problem only I have a current new version of Office 2004
and I wasn't able to register. It keeps saying I have wrong product
Key. I have been searching for the registration form again and can't
find. I wanted to try entering without hyphens. After that I don't know
what to do to register. Was hoping that would take care of "test"
issue. Does one delete "test" version or does it just go away?

You can't convert a test drive to regular by registering anyhow, you have to
remove it before installing the regular version.

Haven't a clue why upgrading to Tiger would cause this. Since it isn't
really the test drive, I would at least see if the basic troubleshooting
tips kick it back into shape, especially repairing permissions and
regenerating the settings files, and rebooting.

Re settings files for Word--basically the same for the other apps:

If y'all didn't remove the test drive before installing the full version,
and it still is on your hard drive, then you might need to remove it now,
which I think requires removing all versions and reinstalling. I'm not sure
whether the Remove Office tool offers the option of *just* removing the test
drive.

Hope that helps. Did you both upgrade to 10.4.2?  I don't think this problem
has been reported before this.
