Powerbook G4 osx.
I get an error message (code -36) because PMingLiU.ttf cannot be read.
Installation stops. Tried permissions repair, disk repair. Nothing helps.
Any help appreciated.
I thought that sounded familiar:

I believe calls for installation support are free.

Since -36 indicates "file not found" it could be a problem on the CD
itself. Since it is the second time the installer chokes the same way on
the same file, I'm starting to wonderr whether some batches of CD could
have a problem :-( I sure didn't experience that with mine.

I'd say them both being student/teacher editions supports the bad batch
theory.
