The moment I launch Outlook Express 5.02 either from my website
(through mailto: tag) or through operating system Mac 9.1, my IE
session's reset.

I use IE version 5.1.7.

Any clues?

Hi there,
Excuse me, but I notice the MSOE version you are using is out of date,
suggest updating soon. This is for safety information only, I have no
affiliation with Microsoft, tm (c).

The following download released and absolutely free from Mactopia at:

         <http://www.microsoft.com/mac/DOWNLOAD/oe/oe5.asp>
Outlook Express 5.0.6 for Mac OS 8.1 to 9.x.
This latest version (September 2002) resolves security vulnerabilities.
But don't use the alias supplied, make your own.

The old version probably hogs internet settings, even when another MS app is
open, but it didn't know about your newer MSIE, so until the update, avoid
having them both open at the same time.
