OE 5.0.6 hangs

Hi,

When recieving mail from a POP3 server on my Mac (OS 9.2.2) mail normally
flows in nicely. However when there is no subject in the header it just
seems to stop. I think that it's the subject header that's giving me probs.
I can then clear the error by getting mail from my PC (spit) with OE 6 which
handles the duff mail ok. As there's no log on OE5.0.6 I can't be more
precise.

Has anyone else seen this ? and what can you do about it ?. I have pasted
the offnding header below.

Thanks
JD

What about enabling "online access" in Mac OE and then giving it another
whirl?  Perhaps this would let you access the suspect messages.

See Q050 on http://machelp.webhop.net/ for more info.

Hi,

It has happened again so the Enable Online Access thing didn't work. Any
other suggestions ?

TIA

Does your ISP provide a Webmail service that you could use to login and
clear the troublesome mails?  This would save you needing to involve a PC
into the equation.

Alternatively, try to access your mail account through something like
http://www.mail2web.com/
