[My apologies to anyone reading this for a second time - I posted this
to the wrong group yesterday by mistake]

I run a mailing list which is having a hard time archiving posts from
a member using Outlook Express Mac Edition v4.5. Specifically, when he
replies to a message using the 'reply' feature, no 'In-Reply-To' or
'References' header is being created, causing his post not to be
threaded properly.

Does anyone know if this is normal behaviour for this mailer? (if so,
in heaven's name why?) Alternatively are there any settings that I can
direct him towards to make OE behave in the expected manner?

Thanks

I don't remember specifics about OE 4.5, but you're talking about a program
that is now quite old. If he can, have him upgrade to OE 5.
