Is there a preference or something that I can set in Outlook Express so that
e-mail messages that I receive are displayed in plain text only, not HTML?

Thanks.

I don't think so, unless someone has written an AppleScript that will do it.

BTW, including your real address in your signature will still leave you open
to spam harvesters.

I am very sorry to hear that about the signature! I must have misunderstood
an instruction somewhere.

Will it solve that problem if I change the @ to at, as I have done in this
signature?

That's much more likely to be effective, although since your previous
message with the original signature is still floating around Usenet, you may
yet be subjected to an increase in spam.

Understood.

Thanks for the warning. It was news to me, and I needed to know that.
