Hi there,
Since yesterday morning our email (through OUTLOOK EXPRESS on Apple
Mac OS9) is knackered. Could it be that new MyDoom virus playin' with
the machines? I've browsed the Symantec site for a solution but it
mentions that Mac aren't effected - so I'm stumped.
It displays a "ERROR: A message in your Outbox could not be sent. The
server did not recognize the recipients. EXPLANATION: Recipient Not
Authorised [recipient rejected due to no authorised destination
groups]" message when we try and send mail.
Can any of you wonderful Mac guru's help - we are desperate? BTW we
can receive emails.. very strange

I would clear your Outbox and recreate the accounts listed in Tools >
Accounts (that is, delete them and then reconfigure them) before retrying.
This won't be anything to do with MyDoom/Novarg - as Symantec have correctly
stated, the virus does not affect Macs.
Has whoever provides your SMTP capabiltiy checked that the server is
functioning correctly?
