I have an imac with OS X 10.2. I have OE and Office 98 installed in the
classic mode but for whatever reason I can't get the spell checking feature
to work. Is there a secret to get OE to recognize that Office 98 is
installed? I also have Office for X installed. Could that be interfering?
Thanks in advance for your responses.

If you have Office v.X installed, why not just use the superior Entourage as
your default mail client?  You could import all of your data from OE and
then no longer need to rely on the Classic environment for e-mail.
