For the last week or so, I've received duplicates (sometimes, at
first, up to FOUR copies) of all emails except the test ones I sent
myself.  I just spent hours in last couple of weeks setting up a new
mindspring address, but that one doesn't seem to be affected.  Only my
main one. Earthlink tech support says it's probably an OEx glitch.
But it's driving me crazy. What to do!!!!

You might just want to make sure that there is only one copy of each message
waiting for you on the mail server before you start the send & receive
process next time.  To do this, go to Tools > Accounts > Mail > [your
account] > Options and tick the option labelled "Allow online access".  Then
close the Accounts window and a new folder with your account name should
appear in the left column.  Click on this folder and it will show you the
messages that are waiting to be downloaded on the next send & receive
attempt.

I have a feeling that this problem could occur if your Rules file is
corrupt.  You could test this out by quitting OE and moving the Rules file
to the Desktop.  The Rules file will normally reside here...
