Some how I moved my in-box icon on my folder column [left side of
screen] from 1st position to instead be inside another folder icon.

I just made a new folder, I had the mouse button down & it moved.
The folder it's now in is close to the new folder.

How can I get my in-box icon back to the top of the folder list where
it belongs & where I want it to be?

You should be able to drag the Inbox folder to the top of the list, over the
word "Folders" and let go in order to re-position it correctly.
