I'm using OE 5.0.6 on OS X and can't send mail from my hotmail account, I
get error 1503. On my other email account I can't send mail because the mail
server requires smtp authentication and I don't see how to set that up. I'm
a recent switcher and I'm beginning to regret it since email is pretty
crucial for me. So for now, I have to use webmail, and that doesn't really
cut it.

Does anybody have a solutin to the error 1503 or smtp authentication? Please
help!

To answer the authenticated SMTP question, see See Q013 on

I don't know if I've seen error 1503 before - what is the exact error text
that comes up when this happens?
