I have two blank lines in my Inbox that won't go away! They just
appeared out of nowhere one day and now I can't get rid of them. My
Inbox folder thinks it has 2 unread messages in it, even when it's
completely empty. I can't transfer or delete those 2 blank
lines--can't even mark them as read, can't do anything to them. Could
someone who knows anything about such a problem please respond to this
posting and tell me how to get rid of those useless lines...

I have the same problem. I tried emailing support@microsoft.com and they
gave me a phone number to call. I called it and the guy there told me that
they don't support the product anymore (OE 5.0.6 MOS 9.2.2) and got really
rude and hung up on me!!!!
Is there any help out there for this problem....
Plus, if I delete an email that is below the blank lines, OE will crash
everytime. Super weird.
Is it time for all Apple-heads to ditch Microsoft for good?
Can anyone from Microsoft help???
Thanks,
Michael

Did you try turning off the Preview Pane in the View menu before attempting
to delete the messages in question?
You may also wish to try compacting the OE database...
