Hello there,
If you happen to be a Microsoft employee, can you pass on this request
please! I would like to see Microsoft Outlook Express for Mac OS X! My
school only supports Outlook express and not Entourage for connections to
their IMAP servers. If there is any hope of this program coming out, please
post a reply! Thanks!

I don't happen to be a Microsoft employee, but I can tell you for certain
that a Carbonised version of OE will never be released for Mac OS X.
Entourage has been earmarked as the way forward, that's pretty much all that
can be said on the matter.

FWIW, you can still run OE in the Classic environment of OS X, though this
is an unwieldly and cumbersome way of using a mail client.
