Read Receipt in OE 5.0.6?

I've searched this and several other online sources and have found two
suggestions... one which doesn't exist and the other which I can't get to
work. Anyone who can offer another (or ideally the correct) solution would
have my deepest gratitude.

I need to be able to occasionally request a read receipt to messages that I
send. I tried going under "rules" but there wasn't such an option. There
isn't anything on 5.0.6 under "Tools" to select. Lastly, I tried creating a
separate account with both "return-receipt-to" and
"Disposition-Notification-to". None of these things seem to be working. Yes,
I've emailed friends who I know can do return receipts on their systems, but
nothing happened.

HELP?? Thanks to all who took the time to read and are taking a couple of
minutes to think about/respond to this request.

Respectfully,
H P

Heather,

If neither "Return-Receipt-To" nor "Disposition-Notification-To" work to
recipients that are capable of producing return receipts (such as MS
Exchange users) then there is no other method that is available to you.

I've not seen anyone else report a failure in this method before, very odd.

If you wish, I can provide a private e-mail address on my exchange server at
work for you to test with.  That way, I can at least check the headers being
sent by OE are correct.

Ricky
