All of a sudden, my emails with attachments are being sent by outlook
express, but are not leaving the outbox and going to the sent mail.
therefore, they keep sending over and over again.
This only happens with emails with attachments.
Is this happening to anyone else?
I went into my stored folder and deleted the outbox.dbx file and then
rebooted.  this did not fix it either.
I scanned for viruses and this did not show any issues either.
Can someone help me?
Thank you.

azphoto did you ever figure out what the problem is?  I am a photographer and
I am on a PC using XP Pro sp2 and having the same issue since last Wednesday
(27 Feb 2008) and cannot figure out what the problem is.  I have deleted and
reinstalled the program.  I have finally narrowed it down to messages with
photos in the email.  The message goes to my "Outbox" but doesn't leave the
"Outbox" in my program.  It is delivered to the address I sent it to but on
top of not leaving the "Outbox" it doesn't appear in the "Sent" folder.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Al

You've posted to the wrong newsgroup, this is for OE for Macintosh.

I've crossposted and set followups to the Windows OE newsgroup.

I've got the same problem.  In addition, when I open OE, it automatically
sends all the emails waiting in the outbox.  The posts are being sent the
first time but now the recipients are receiving multiple copies.  I can
delete the messages and that stops the re-sending but the problem persists
when I create new messages.  Any help is appreciated...

Each time you start OE?

Is there a size limit as far as your ISP is concerned?
Malformed jpg files are regarded as nasty these days, try zipping them too,
and try again.

Please reply to newsgroup!

PS
You are in the wrong group.
(notice the name of the group?),
this has long been discontinued for the Mac.

You might have better luck on a non-Mac newsgroup...
