Hello, like many other users I have accidentally said 'yes' to do you wish to
compact your messages and now my Inbox is empty, all other folders remin
intact.

I have followed the thread from Bruce Hagen up to the point

- Close OE and then in Windows Explorer, click on the dbx file for the
missing, or empty, folder and drag it to the Desktop. It can be deleted
later once you have successfully restored the bak file. Minimize the Message
Store.

There are no files in the recycle bin.  have I missed something?  Please can
someone confirm if there are any other steps I need to make or do I need to
purchase DBXpress to resolve the problem.

Many thanks - Apricot
