msg from address book displayed as 'Spam Suspect'

I double-checked to make sure that a gmail address of mine was in fact
included in contact info of Outlook Express' Address book and *still* I'm
repeatedly seeing incoming messages from that account listed as 'Spam
Suspect' in OE's inbox (at least they aren't automatically going into
'bulk', I guess).

The messages in question do not contain any filter-as-junk keywords in their
subjects btw.

What am I not doing, or could do, to alleviate this issue?

Perhaps try an OE6 newsgroup, rather than a Mac one?
Such as;
<microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress>
