Emails sent multiple times

Sometimes when I send emails they get sent multiple times. This happens more
frequently with larger emails but this is not always the case. The email sits
in the outbox and sometimes I get an error message popping up saying the
server timed out but again this doesn't always happen! The Mail Delivery
Reports all come through a little while later which inform me how many
multiple times the email has been sent, and they are often at 1-3min
intervals. I have changed the automatic send/receive option to activate every
10mins but this doesn't help. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Sorry, I should add that I am using Microsoft Outlook 2003. I couldn't find a
group for this programme which surprises me but there must be one hidden
around somewhere....

I think I've just found the answer to my problem.

I can't see how to delete this forum message so apologies to those who check
it to see me seemingly having a conversation with myself

Your last dit mentioned you'd found the answer to your problem. We suffer
this one too, any ideas?
