The advice may differ for the PC, but if you're using OE 5 on Mac OS,
uninstalling (i.e. deleting) and reinstalling the application should not
affect your e-mail or address book content.
If you are using a PC, please use the equivalent Windows group...
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress

Probably, they are stored in Microsoft User Data, Identities, not in the
application itself.
